Nursing is a broad term with definitions varying from country to country. However, it’s generally accepted that a nursing career involves taking care of the sick and the disabled. In terms of International Council of Nurses, the job entails taking care taking care of ill, disabled or dying patients, promotion of health, safe environment, and prevention of illness.
